Meet Termaine

”Termaine Hicks’s story is a testimony to the power of faith to overcome bitterness and despair, and his commitment to helping others—after the injustice that he has suffered. As a national speaker against wrongful convictions, gun violence, and the challenges faced by our youth. He dedicates  full time to bringing his message to conferences around the world. Whether as a keynote speaker or a workshop leader, Termaine will break through the boundaries that are limiting your team.

Writing for me is where free-flowing thoughts and a passionate mindset take center stage.

S.T.E.P.U.P., an acronym for Selfless Thinking Expresses Potential that Uplifts People, a 501 (c)(3) Nonprofit Organization helping the youth curb gun violence & bullying by implementing Critical Thinking & Conflict Resolution.

 I never lost faith. EfM provided me with a firm foundation so that, like John the Baptist, I would not be a reed shaken by every wind.

Studies estimate that between 4-6% of people incarcerated in US prisons are actually innocent. If 5% of individuals are actually innocent, that means 1/20 criminal cases result in a wrongful conviction.

My story is truly exceptional, life has a way of making lemons into lemonade. The challenges I have faced throughout my life I’ve been able to transform personal hardship into hope and that’s something to talk about.” Letting people know there's alternative to better your life. I was writing to FREE myself of the situation and circumstances I was in now helping others through public speaking. I am grateful to be back amongst the living. Just being FREE, free like a bird.
